Suspect Who Shot Tebogo Thobejane Has Been Arrested

Tebogo Thobejane can finally breathe a sigh of relief now that the person who shot her last October has been arrested.

The South African actress was in her car when the violent incident took place, forcing her to move to Dubai for safety.

“As a woman, it’s terrifying to live with constant fear of the unknown,” she said.

Thobejane had just left Saints Champagne Lounge in Sandton with a friend and their driver around 11 PM when three men pulled up beside them and opened fire.

In an interview with Zimoja, she stated that the shooting appeared to be deliberate.

“It didn’t seem like a robbery or an attempted hijacking. I have my own suspicions—it looked like a targeted attack,” she explained.
