Last Friday’s event at the Etwatwa Sports Complex was not only about crime-fighting strategies. Residents also held a prayer session, organized by Busisiwe Ntuli, where different church leaders were invited to pray for the safety of Daveyton and Etwatwa. With prayers aimed at reducing GBV and seeking divine intervention, Busisiwe stressed the importance of spiritual support in these trying times. “We invite the Holy Spirit to rain down and ask God to have mercy on us,” she said, hoping that Xolani’s involvement would help steer their fight in the right direction.
