The tragedy began on Monday afternoon, 29 July, when a fire erupted in Beverly Hills, Vaal. Busisiwe and her 22-year-old aunt were sleeping in separate bedrooms when the blaze broke out. Despite the heroic efforts of neighbors to extinguish the fire, it proved too strong. While Busisiwe’s aunt managed to escape, residents were unable to rescue Busisiwe, who was tragically trapped in the flames.

Speaking to Daily Sun, a heartbroken Sello Moloi expressed his deep sorrow over the loss of his daughter. “The grave is just right on the knees, where it could be easily dug up, and that is adding more pain,” he said.

“Today, I’m just holding myself and being strong enough to bury my child, but I’m not okay. I need counselling. Death robbed me of my precious girl whom I was expecting a lot from when she grew up, and that pain will live with me forever,” Sello Moloi shared.
He described Busisiwe as a quiet child with a promising future. “My daughter was not a person who talks but always quiet, and with that personality, I already saw her bright future, but God had plans for her.”
