In a strategic move ahead of the iPhone 16 launch, Samsung has reduced the price of its flagship Galaxy S24 by $200, bringing the price down to $1219.99. This discount, typically reserved for the Black Friday shopping period, comes as Samsung, Google, and Apple intensify their competition, offering aggressive deals to attract each other’s customers.
The deal, which ends on September 2nd, is available without the need to trade in an old phone. However, Samsung is also offering enhanced trade-in values for various devices, making the deal even more enticing. The trade-in prices include:
- $650 for the Galaxy S22 Ultra
- $600 for the Galaxy S21 Ultra
- $500 for the Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max
- $400 for the Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max
Samsung’s trade-in offers surpass those for Google’s Pixel range, where a Pixel 8 Pro is valued at $300. In contrast, Google offers $699 for the Pixel 8 Pro and $540 for the Pixel 7 Pro. Google’s deals come alongside the launch of the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, which includes $350 in store credit, a free year of Gemini Advanced, and 2TB of cloud storage for those who pre-order.
Samsung’s competitive deals continue with the $1500 Galaxy Z Fold 6 offer, which includes double storage, enhanced trade-in values, a $300 store credit for wearables, and a free year of Samsung Care+.
