Shaune Mogaile, a player for Sekhukhune United, handed himself over to the police this afternoon after being involved in a tragic accident this morning in Tembisa. The footballer allegedly fled the scene following the crash. Eyewitnesses report that bottles of alcohol were found inside his BMW.
The accident occurred when Mogaile’s BMW collided with a Grand i10 driven by a mother who was transporting children to school. Tragically, one of her daughters lost her life in the collision. Additionally, a 13-year-old neighbor’s child, who was also in the vehicle, sustained severe injuries and, along with the mother, was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.
