Two vacancies exist for the position of Gate Guard. These individuals will work at the entrance of Addo Elephant National Park, playing a critical role in park security, access control, and guest relations.
β Minimum Requirements
Candidates must meet the following qualifications to be considered for the role:
- β Minimum Grade 12 (Std 10) Certificate
- β Successful completion of the Ranger Fitness Selection Program
- β Accredited Basic Field Ranger Training (Advantageous but not mandatory)
- β Relevant experience in conservation (Advantageous)
- β Experience in security/access control
- β Basic understanding of conservation laws and regulations
- β Willingness to undergo a medical examination
