About the Role
As a Call Centre Agent at Pedros, you will serve as the first point of contact for our valued customers. Your primary responsibility will be handling incoming calls and providing exceptional support to ensure a seamless ordering experience. From answering queries about our menu to assisting with special requests and order modifications, you will play a key role in enhancing our customer service.
Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Interaction & Support
- Professionally handle inbound calls and respond to customer inquiries regarding the restaurant, menu options, promotions, and policies.
- Provide clear, accurate, and friendly assistance to customers in a timely manner.
2. Order Management
- Take phone orders efficiently for both delivery and collection services.
- Accurately capture customer orders, including any special instructions, and ensure all details are correctly communicated to the respective store.
3. Menu Expertise
- Develop a deep understanding of the full Pedros menu.
- Confidently guide customers through the menu, offering detailed descriptions and suggesting meal options based on preferences.
4. Modifications and Special Requests
- Help customers modify existing orders or make special requests.
- Effectively liaise with stores to ensure any changes are implemented without compromising service delivery.
5. Upselling and Cross-selling
- Identify opportunities to promote additional items such as beverages, sides, or combo deals.
- Recommend items that enhance the customer’s overall dining experience while driving revenue growth.
Minimum Requirements
- A completed Matric certificate.
- Proven computer literacy with the ability to work with ordering and call-handling systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Professional phone etiquette and a customer-oriented attitude.
- Previous experience handling inbound calls in a fast-paced call centre environment.
- Prior experience in a similar role within the food service or hospitality industry will be advantageous.
